Kubrat Pulev got in a professional boxing ring for the 9th time and got out of it for the 9th time as a winner. At a gala evening in Rostock. Germany the best Bulgarian boxer won by points against Dominick Guinn. The fight lasted under the rule of the Cobra who won with 80:72, 80:72, 79:73.
This is Pulev’s most significant success in his professional career. The 35-year-old Guinn has 35 victories out of 41 fights (22 knockouts). The American was considered to be one of the contenders for the world title in heavyweight category by entering a winning streak of 24 victories which got him the nickname “Southern Disaster”. This streak was discontinued by Pulev.
For Kubrat this has been second triumph over an American after the one with Zach Page on Dec 5 2009.
