Pulev will face former world champion in “Arena Armeets”
December, 3rd, 2016. The place is “Arena Armeets” in Sofia. On this day one dream will come true. The childhood dream of Kubrat Pulev and the dream of so many people in his homeland. Pulev – Bulgarian Nation hero is touching people’s hearts with his pride and dignity.
So, this day is coming! After 7 years of hard work to build his own path in Heavyweight Division, after 23 victories and 14 KOs, after two European titles on professsional boxing scene, the last one is the current one and the one, won in May this year in Hamburg, after International title of IBF and a bout for the world crown, Bulgarian Cobra finally will fight at home. Bulgarian fans have been dreaming for this moment since years!
Pulev will face former world WBC champion Samuel Peter (36-5, 29 KOs) on December 3rd in his home city – Sofia. This wil be a new chalenge for Pulev after his 12 round win over Dereck Chisora on May, 6th in Hamburg, when he brought back home the belt of European Heavyweight champion. Kubrat is currently ranked at number 2 under the IBF and stands in position for mandator shot at the sanctioning body’s Heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.
